Vancouver 2010 sport events
Students will learn the names of the different sporting events in the 2010 winter Olympics. They can race to finish filling in the crossword or you can encourage partner work so students speak the words out loud to eachother.

Students can learn the names of 4 basic shapes. Then they can count to see how many of each they can find. After everything is done they can colour. You can even teach them colours. Tell them to colour all circles green and all triangles blue, etc.

Complicated body parts 2
Students race to lable the body parts. If they don�t know the word, they have to run to the teacher and ask. Then go back to their desk. The first student to finish wins.

Boardgame with dice
2 pages. Work out some of their energy with this game. Roll the dice. Roll a number 4 and students must do that activity and say what they are doing 4 times.
Don�t want your kinds jumping and running around? Then simply have them say the word skate 4 times in order to not go back 4 spaces.

Directions Dice Game
Students each start in a corner. They take turns rolling the dice. If the dice say right....they move one space to the right and draw thier mark. Stop means miss a turn. U-turn means go back one space. The winner makes the most marks on the board. Once a mark is made nobody else can leave their mark on that space.

Articles A/An/The
A simple overview of article rules. I don�t believe you should teach your students when not to use articles....it�s too much information. When I taught the lesson I broke each rule down and gave examples of when to use the article or when it doesn�t work...for example.....I can say, "The United States of America"....but I can�t say, "the America"...
