 		 A and E vowel sounds
 A fun way to get students to practise their vowel sounds. Put the name cards around the room and hand out the word cards to students. Get the students to stick the word under the correct name card. This is extra fun if its a competition between groups. They can then write sentences using some of of the words. Enjoy!!

Guess the food
 A great resource that can be used as a speaking/writing/spelling game. Get the students to simply shout out the name of the food or make it more difficult by putting them in teams and writing the spelling on a mini whiteboard- first team to get the correct spelling gets a point!

 Play the slide show and get the students to guess the animals before the last tile is removed. This can be a whole class activity or a team activity. Use it simply for speaking or get students to work in teams and run to the board to write the name of the animal to practise spelling. Enjoy!
