Conversation topics related to "good deeds" like giving up your seat on the bus giving money to a homeless person, etc. Two of the questions are from Exploring English 4 by Tom Harris, I added the others because I thought it was an interesting topic. We had a great discussion; hope someone else will find this interesting too.

"Last Mango in Paris" Song (past tense practice)
I have the students first listen to the song without the worksheet and try to write down all the past tense verbs they hear, then give them the sheet and have them listen again and circle the all the past tense verbs they hear/see in the lyrics.

Mercedes Benz Song- Student Version
Students listen to the song "Mercedes Benz" by Janis Joplin and fill in the blanks. There is an explanation for everything I thought might be difficult for my students. I sometimes use this as a conversation starter on materialism and spirituality in different countries. Hope your students like it as much as mine did!
