My personal holiday
Students are asked to describe church or national or regional holidays with their rituals and how their families celebrate them. They state their opinions on these special days. Then they are asked to invent a holiday which may be a crazy one like "national car washing day" or a serious one - and to explain and defend it in front of other students....
