Someone I admire
This is a nice activity where students can describe someone they really admire. I usually ask them to think about someone they know personally, instead of doing it on a movie star. In some of my groups, I had really good text and I asked some of them to send these texts of appreciation directly to the person.

Make Your Own Magazine
Its a really fun activity - especially when every team has a different topic. When I did this activity, I had topics such as: movie stars, hockey (Montreal Canadiens), sports vehicles, fashion, recipes and even a Survivor Fan magazine. It was awesome.
