I have found that Past Progressive is one of the most difficult sections of grammar for students to understand. I have been making worksheet after worksheet to try and get them to be able to use it. This is one of them.

Crosswords are a tool I use for re-inforcing vocabulary. I have my own program, so it is really simple. I give the students the vocabulary to learn, and then I give them the crossword to do. Have fun!!

General Vocabulary Crossword
I use this crossword for teaching general vocabulary. I usually use it when students are tired and ready for a break from grammar or reading assignments. I make the crosswords from the vocabulary that they are learning. They have a lot of fun with it. Sometimes in groups, sometimes individually.

There is - There are
This is a worksheet that I have used for many of my students to re-inforce there learning of "there is/there are". My students have enjoyed the worksheet as well as learning about rock hyraxes. BTW I took the photograph.
