Book Day Fun
Its Book Day on March 1st. The activities can be extended by: research the book titles and write a paragraph about each; find a film to match each genre (book type); draw the settings described etc... I have tried to prepare this in the style of the great sazzag, but with only moderate success:-(

Follow the instructions (prepositions practice)
The students must follow the instructions to complete the rooms. Then, I get them to compare their finished pictures with a partner and discuss any differences. Next they are given any three of the diagrams and they write descriptions. I got the pictures from clker.com apart from the last one; dont know where thats from.

The Supporting Act
This is a short clip by the BBC, which they will play between programmes till Christmas, when they will add to it... It is 2:01 minutes long and quite touching. No dialogue, so great for teaching English. Good practice for both present tenses. I would give each student 3 or 4 questions to answer, or else, several viewings! Key included.
