Picture-based discussion: should the burka be banned in public places?
My students have to reflect on each picture - what point is each making? - make notes and then I give them a card with for or against. They have to give a presentation putting forward that point of view. Lively topic! By the way, it can be spelt burka or burqa.

Crystal is not a bully!
This will suit upper-intermediates. The focus is past simple, but there are higher level questions with should. Thanks to Zailda for the template. The 2 pictures are paintings, not real photos. Found no copyright and couldnt trace the artists.

London or Paris?
I am going to extend this and do projects on major European cities - but this may be useful as a picture-based discussion exercise. By the way - one of the pictures says its by Alpha Holiday lettings. Ive contacted them 3 times for permission and they havent replied. Anyway, its not actually a copyright mark. Second btw - Paris wins hands-down!

Androcles and the Lion: a play
This is a play (5 sides). I love this story. I play Youtube clips (including the link given), hotseat, reading passages etc... Most of the parts are for narrators, so you can adapt the number of parts.
