Chaga and the Chocolate Factory - the plot
This is a diagram which I have produced to make it easier for my 9th form students to understand the plot of this short story. I divided it into three parts, led the students to identify some of the items in each and then the characters and objects which contributed to build a bridge between these parts. Hope it is useful.

If I was president
I chose this song to deal with the topic "Racism" in my 9th form classes. Students listen to fill in the gaps, then they deduce the subject and the message of the song and, finally, they take a conditional sentence from the lyrics, explain how it is built and the meaning it conveys. I can jump puddles
I selected this song to deal with disability in a 9th form class of mine. First, students speculated on the contents of the song, based on the line "I can�t run like other children", then they listened to correct the wrong words. Hope you find it useful.
