Were learning to read
This is the 5th in my series of "Were learning to read". I have had a lot of success with these in getting the right sounds from my students. With each story, I add new vocabulary and review previous sounds. As many of my students have a problem differentiating between "b" and "d", I work quite a lot with these letters. Have fun.

There is/There are & Pepositions
I put this as an elementary level, but it can be adusted for all levels. I have used this in groups of adults, both beginners and intermediate. I have also used this for children in a classroom. I did the classroom as per the map using cardboard boxes and had the kids walk around asking questions. This can also be done with adults. Have fun.

First, thank you for the great idea of a mindmap. Second, thank you for the site. Third, this is a first class English activity for intermediate students. It works well with students in groups of three of four. Have them compete against each other. Most of all have fun!
