Im a Brit living in Spain teaching English because thats all I could find over here. I like it though. I also upload my worksheets on ISL Collective, normally a day or two after I have done so here. br You can order my books by pasting this into the browser: https://www.amazon.es/Dale-Bates/e/B08QD5M5PQ?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1613573760&sr=8-1

Horror Story
This is an old story that has been told time and time again which I have turned into a "guess-what-happened-next" activity. Read the instructions and off you go. This could also be used as a means to practicing connectors. Perhaps not a good idea for the younger classes!

Put the story in order
A little story I wrote for a class of police officers. It seemed to amuse them. Read the instructions and off you go! Works best for small groups. For bigger groups, get the students who need the most practice to read, while the rest are divided into groups to work as a team putting the text into the right order.

Irregular Past Verb Practice Illustration
Thanks to Bruna Dutra for her notebook template. Use this as you see fit. This is a speaking aid. I tend to get the students to ask, "What did she do on Monday the First?" hoping that they respond with, "She took the train to London." It can also be used to practise auxiliary verbs in the past; e.g. "Did she take the train to London on Monday the 1...

One Foot in the Grave Lesson Plans
For the BBC TV series "One Foot in the Grave." More apt for upper intermediate students. Here are some question sheets for all episodes, bar one, of series 2 plus the first episode of series 3. The show may appear a bit dated for modern tastes but its a nice way to teach vocabulary and to show it in action. Also good for fixed expressions such as ...

Fther Ted series 2 Worksheets
Some worksheets for Father Ted series 2 (parts 1 and 2) with the Christmas special. Tend to work well with groups of an intermediate level although pre intermediate is possible with subtitles (in English). Teach the vocabulary from the boxes first.

Reported speech
A quick worksheet for reported speech practice. It could be handed out to the group and then worked on in pairs or the teacher could just read out the sentences while the students report what is said.

Time Battleships
Played the same as battleships only with days and times. Get the students to write 4 words in the boxes. Words should be no longer than 7 letters. They then take it in turns to hit each others battleships by asking where the letters are. A hit always gets another go.
