Pizza Cooking
This is a follow up worksheet for a cooking lesson where JHS-age students made pizza. After the lesson, we filled out this worksheet and the students thought about the ingredients they used and decided which food group they fall into. They also wrote �Carbohydrates, Protein, Vitamins, Minerals, Oil etc in the �important things� column.

Giving narrative characters emotion
This is a fill in the blank exercise where students replace She said, �....� with more interesting verbs and adverbs. The main idea of this exercise is to get students thinking about how to give their characters more dimension by using more descriptive language such as �screamed loudly�, �whispered quietly� etc.
