Irregular Verbs Test
Students write the past tense form of the verb next to the present tense. They then choose several pairs of verbs (for example, "go" and "went") and write sentences in both the present and past tense.

Can / Can�t Sort
Students cut the basic verbs/verb phrases out (with coordinating pictures so even those with very low literacy can do this activity). They then sort and glue them into the "I can" or "I can�t" columns based on their own abilities.

How many?
This is an activity that students complete in pairs or groups of three. They ask each other how many brothers, sisters, backpacks, books, etc. that they have and record the answers. There is one column for students to fill in their own information--and two columns for two different classmates.

Fruit Survey
This a sheet used to do a mixer activity. Students survey classmates by choosing two fruits and asking each other, "Do you like...?" They tally or make checkmarks to keep track of how many students like each fruit. This gets students talking and repeating a common kind of question.
