English words I know already...
I use this for the first class for Mexican seasonal workers. Elicit words they already know in English with props and actions - eg. cognates such as pizza, dollar, hospital, hamburger... complete introduction on the bottom and read to each other. I think it gives a feeling of success for the first class, even for pre-beginners.
