I m a Secondary school English teacher in a little town in the south-east of Spain. I love teaching teenagers and I think it s the perfect age to introduce them to the culture, literature, music... of English speaking countries. I use songs in class a lot so I m sending some worksheets I ve worked with in class. I hope they re also useful for you!

LIVERPOOL, European city of culture 2008
Liverpool has been European city of culture in 2008. I planned a school trip with my students last March and before the trip I introduced them to some cultural aspects of this fantastic city. As you can guess by my username, Liverpool is a great city which means a lot to me for many different reasons. If you need some useful links to work with this...

"About a boy"
I use films a lot in my classes to introduce some cultural aspects of English speaking countries. This is a great film that students usually enjoy watching, but after watching I have to make sure they were paying attention. Films are not an excuse not to do anything, so I always give them activities for after watching. Enjoy the film!
