tic tac toe GAME on questions: students have to find the question, not the answer
A game my students loved:
it�s a tic tac toe, with 9 topics (related to the units we studied in class, but you may change a few questions to suit your needs)+4 pages of cards
They pick a card (the colour of the card matches the colour of the topic) and they have to build the question to have the right to draw a nought or a cross.

coming back after the holidays: pairwork

Past continous: describing people (detective unit)
As part of my detective unit, I teach how to use past continous to describe a thief: there�s a short lesson, and pictures to cut and use in order to do a pairwork activity: one of the pupil has to describe his/her thief to his/her classmate, who has to draw the thief as precisely as possible.

Pingu�s christmas is a funny 5 minute long video : I �ve taken snapshots from the video so that the pupils could prepare the dubbing: they have tu use basic vocabulary and structures, dub the cartoon in english and sing along "silent night in the end!
