Nicole Kidman Biography Simple Past Tense

SONG: On top of Spaghetti
This song went down well with my younger students aged about 10 and 11. We were studying food vocabulary and I just lightened up the lesson with a song. The first YOU TUBE link is better for listening quality but my Italian students also loved the second which shows an Italian waiter chasing after the meatball.. hope you have fun.

SONG: Everything I do. BRYAN ADAMS
This is quite a good introduction to the 1st and 2nd conditional. I had my students listen to the song and fill in the gaps, then we discussed the different forms of the 1st and 2nd conditional. This song is being used by a major car company on a television advert right now so I decided to use it with my 14 year-olds, even though it is more a childrens� song. We did this after learning the past tense form...I took the song from You-Tube (Fred Penner is the singer)
