The main 103 words listed in Miriam Trehearne�s book of teaching literacy. I print them onto 2 different colours of construction paper, make a set for each kid or group(I usually only give one page at a time) then use them to play memory, flashcards, go fish, etc. See also my: games to do with flashcards...

Editable Brown Bear Book - Glue in the colours
2nd in the series...editable book. Cut pages in half and staple. Kids glue in the colours and can colour the animals. Did not include the patterned part to reduce reading, but my 3-4 year olds had no problems with it. Brown bear brown bear what do you see? Then red bird red bird, what do you see? Describing Characters - adjectives in context
For more advanced students - adjectives in context. After listening to/reading a story, students choose three adjectives to describe the character, then give one example for each character. For more advanced students, on the back they could pick one of those adjectives and write if it describes themselves or not, with an example to prove it.
