Birth announcements - reading / writing / creative work
A part of a project about babies; pupils read the birth announcements and answer the few questions about them. Then they create their own birth announcement card, which is an easy (but fun) writing task. I give marks on writing and creativity. That way, it is very suitable for weaker pupils as well.
