Bridget Joness Diary
A worksheet I use with the opening sequence of Bridget Joness Diary. I cut the worksheet after I, II and IIIc and hand out each part separately, making the pupils imagine what is going to happen next (what Bridget is going to wear, if she is going to like Mark Darcy and so on). I also use an extract from the book as a written comprehension in add...

American elections 1 - My Dear Country - Norah Jones
A really nice (and totally biased !) song by Norah Jones, plus a small test. She compares the American Presidential elections of 2004 to Halloween and describes her feelings. I used this in addition to other material about the elections. My pupils enjoyed this activity, hope you like it too!
Theres a problem with the preview but the worksheet s...

Easter matching
students have to match the Easter words to their definitions. They have to focus on the words they understand to find the proper definition. I use this in addition to a wordsearch containing the new words.
The preview slightly changes the worksheet but it seems ok when I download it. If there are any problems, please let me know.

Bowling for columbine - guns in the USA (1)
This is a worksheet designed to study a short extract from Bowling for Columbine (from 00:33:34 to 00:36:41). I first ask the students what they know about the film and Columbine before giving them the overview part. After watching the sequence once, we correct the overview and focus on detailled comprehension.
