Converstation cards:- set phrases with "do"
A set of cards containing questions with set phrases with "do" embedded. Print, laminate, cut and give each student a card. They should mingle and ask their question to one student (and vice versa) and then move on to the next student where the whole procedure starts again.

Mr Busy has come back from Egypt and is reflecting on his holiday. He had taken the same cruise as the characters in Agatha Christie�s "Death on the Nile" and was happy that there had been no murders on his trip. Using the Gerund and the infinitive
The worksheet comprises a list of verbs which take the gerund and a list of those which take the infinitive as well as exercises to practice this use. A few examples are given to show that some verbs can take either without change of meaning and a few are given to show that the sense of the sentence changes depending on which form is used.
