furniture memory game
a great way to learn and review vocabulary. I copy on thick paper and cut into small cards. One copy for every 2-3 students. furniture items are basic but it is fully editable so you can add or take out as you please. My students like this kind of thing, I hope you like it, Marion

meaning of the song Lemon tree
The song "lemon Tree� is very popular but its lyrics are a little obsecure so i searched the net for meaning and came accross some nice materials. I re-wrote them to better suit the level of my students. (source site mentioned under the title). I will use it alongside the wonderful exercises �Daniela� posted a few days ago. (thanks again ;)

Jobs board game - 2 A4�s put together
Students read the text in black (i.e. You look sick, you should go and see a...) and then they jump to the name (in big colorful letters) of the correct profession. some descriptions will have them return a few squares(like a returning toothache :)Print out both A4 pages and glue together to create 1 big game. one more review sheet for the verb �to be� again with all kinds of different exercises (posite, negative, make questions, give short answers, contractions, etc.) It seemed to help sort things out in their minds.
