Treasure hunt: synonyms and antonyms
Instructions: place posts around school and mark on school map/alternatively place around class. Give groups of students the assignments, and have them solve the task by checking the posts. I let them start with different tasks to avoid chaos. Before getting next task they have to do extra task.

Game that enhances vocab. played in pairs. Students take turns in picking a card. They read out the category, and the other player lists as many word that fit the category as possible. For each word the students says that is listed on the card, the student gets one point.

Easy small memory game, where students match the opposites.

Verb tenses game
Fun little game that I have used successfully on several occasions. Cut up cards, place students in groups. Students take turns picking a card. They read out the card and identify the tense. If correct, they get to keep the card. Most cards win.
