Trying to get my students to use more interesting vocabulary has been something of a difficult task. I�ve creadted this worksheet to help students get to know some extreme adjectives and, hopefully, use them a bit more.

FCE Part 3 Language Grab
I like to laminate these cards and hand them out at the start of class. I like students to try and use them as much as possible throughout the class. I also use them whenever students do focused speaking exam practice.

FCE Speaking part 2 Grab activity
I use this to improve my students vocabulary for describing pictures in FCE part two.
I make 3 or four copies and get the students to take one when they use it whilst comparing pictures. The winning student is the one with the most cards at the end of class.

Minimal Pairs
Put you class into pairs.
Have on stand on the opposite side of the class to the other.
Give each set of pairs one of the cards.
Tell one student A from each set of pairs to shout one of the words on the card. student B has to write that word down.
