A quickish questionnaire
I�ve made a questionnaire to get to know my students a little at the start of the new year. I find it really helps me tailor my classes to their needs and likes.

Top 10 inventions
Cut titles and numbers off each invention on the list. Get students to debate name the order of importance (according to a group of scientists) of the inventions then have each student write 2 multiple choice questions about their invention. Next get the other students to answer the questions.

Minimal Pairs
Put you class into pairs.
Have on stand on the opposite side of the class to the other.
Give each set of pairs one of the cards.
Tell one student A from each set of pairs to shout one of the words on the card. student B has to write that word down.
