This is a true story of Alek Wek. She is a famous supermodel who is an inspiration to all who read her story. Not only did she help to break the mould for modeling but she continues to speak out and support those struggling in her country. There are questions at the end of the story for students. Gerunds find someone who likes
This activity worked well in my class. Students make the questions using the gerunds available. They then match the picture with the question and finally they find a student that likes that activity. It gets them off their chair and also helps with group dynamics

I created this ws to revise the rules of prepositions of time for at in and on. Sts work out the rules by putting the time indicators in the correct category. They then can do two exercises to practise them. There is also an answer sheet for tired teachers like me.

Colour and shape bingo
A great activity to revise shapes and colour. After a few times they really start to remember the shapes. At the start I call the shapes and colours but you can also get the students to call them out by pointing to the one you want them to call out.

Homonym Bingo
The teacher prints out the cards and can laminate them, for reuse. The teacher reads out the homonym on the flash card and students look for the matching flash card on their bingo card.

A bad day
