This poem is great to introduce the reported speech "......told .....".The sts number the images and then read the poem aloud .I made them learn it by heart and then change the nouns , to recycle spring related words .Hope you like it !

I love poems and my students too .I�ve found that poems are a great tool to make kids speak in English ! They love rhyming words and the pictures help them memorize the words, then they transfer the words to other contexts .I hope you find it useful , I adapted it to the southern hemisfere .
