Use these flashcards to first teach the vocabulary and then play pairs/memory with them.

House furniture and rooms - cut and paste
Go over the vocabulary with the children for the furniture and the rooms. Then get the children to cut out the pictures and stick them in the correct room of the house.

Buried treasure - CVC words
Children read the letters on the gold coins and decide if they make a real word or not. Then they cut and paste them next to either the treasure chest or the bin. There are 9 words here but you can always add more depending on the level of the child.

R blends - grouping, phonics
Discuss the names of the pictures with the children and get them to listen to the beginning sounds. The children then cut out the pictures and stick them in the box for the appropriate R blend.
