Present Simple vs Continuous questions - pair work
Students practice making questions in both tenses independently, they can self-check.
They can get 1 point for each correct question or you can make it a sentence race - taking it in turns to make correct questions and moving forward only if they have produced a correct question. The one who gets to the last question first, wins.
