The Island
I usually tell my students that they are on a sinking ship and have only a few items they can take with them. Sometimes I give them the target language and a time frame say 5 min. then they land on a island and the must insert the vocabulary by drawing a map. Then I have them write description of it. Works great with all levels.

Battle of the Sexes
This worksheet is great with a class of teenagers or young adults. It sparks all kinds of debats and arguments. I break the students into parteners first then we discuss their answers as a class. This is a worksheet works well with helping shy students come out of their shells. Its easy I agree or disagree women are smarter. why?
