            Boardgame - future tenses

This is an activity I designed for my students who are learning different types of future tenses to talk about different plans such as going to, will, may, might and 1st conditional. Its a way to get them talking and applying everything that was taught. Hope you find it useful. TWO BOARDS IN ONE PAGE.

            Simple past questions board game

Students can play this game in pairs or groups of three. They should have counters and a die and when they step on a question square, they should ask the yes/no question and answer it. If its correct, they can stay, if its wrong, they have to go back to where they were. You can vary it or play it however you want. I did it with adults and they lo...

Im teaching my students how to make effective presentations and after a lot of discussion, we came up with these tips for public speaking. Thought Id share them with you. In the preview you cant see the tips (I dont know why), but theyre 19 tips in total.

DECK OF CARDS - SPEAKING ACTIVITY

The original idea of making a speaking activity with a deck of cards, I found in onestopenglish.com, but I decided to create my own activity focused on more elaborated questions and descriptions and more interesting topics. The layout is different and its easy to play. Hope you like it.

            MYSTERIOUS CONTROVERSIES

I designed this hand-out to get my students to talk about the out-of-the-ordinary. I put them in groups of four and had them talk about the different topics and rate their level of credibility from 1-5. It was very fun and students actually talked about different experiences theyve had.
Hope you like it and its useful.
