In pairs pupils play this game.
If a pupil wants to put a cross or a nought in a strategic place he will have to write the suggested verb in the required person and number. If he doesn�t Know, the other player will have the opportunity to place his/her nought or cross in the most favourable position

cHARLIE cHAPLIN�S BIOGRAPHY
As end of unit activities ( pupils should use the simple past correctly as well as the connectors ) I asked them to write biographies of famous people.They did it well and some of these works were posted in their blog (http://www.meetingpoint.blogspot.com).
As a end of Unit Test I choose the biography of Charlie Chaplin.

The 300 m hurdles- game
Each pupil has to fill in the blank spaces with the correct missing word. They only have 30 minutes to " jump" over the 30 hurdles. The winner will be the student who first finishes the race , but also the one who gets more points. The gold medallist has to jump over the 30 hurdles and gets a prize.
They all love games.

The " DRIVING TEST" game
Students are given sentences with a gap to fill in. They have three alternative answers. The student�s aim is to get a driving license - that�s to say he is a good driver at English Land. To get it he has to score the more green lights possible.
They do enjoy this game and they feel sky-high when they get the driving license with his/ her photo on...
