When something happened
This is a prompt card to get students talking about something good, bad, and surprising. The students use the picture prompts to create a one-minute story for each heading. As a follow up, students can create their own stories, from their own experiences.

Animal Adjectives
Quick speaking practice for students studying as...as comparisons. First, pre-teach the adjectives and the animals. Secondly, give each student a card with an animal and it�s adjective. Thirdly, students take it in turn to describe another using the construction. For example, "Esteban is as wise as an owl."
