Egg Carton Phonics
Make a simple game to practice letter sounds out of an egg carton. Kids love to shake the carton and open it to discover where the marker landed. This could also be used to practice new words by putting the words on the small, round removable labels used for color coding files, which can easily be replaced as words are mastered.
