A tribute to Maya Angelou
A listening exercise of a great poem by Maya Angelou. I used it after the extensive reading activities on the short story "Names". After discussing the tone and message of the poem, students were asked to write a comment by comparing them to the main themes and issues of the short story. The students loved this poem!
