Wife Tamer
Well this old invention could cause some lively discussion! The text is dotted with loads of verb+preposition combinations for a grammatical focus - or just use the text as an impulse for a conversation lesson - infact, the idea behind the invention really could take the wind out of someones sails. Mr Busy thinks back to his childhood (used to /would) - harder version
Mr Busy walks down "Memory Lane". A gap-fill exercise focusing on using used to and would. This is a harder version in that the students have to chose the verb combinations themselves. Im uploading an easier version for the less able, too. This episode was inspired by Nika Jana (many thanks -hope you like it:)
