 		 School Supply Game Cards
 Use these cards to play a game similar to Go Fish. Students get 5 cards. They are trying to get sets of 4 of the same supply. When it is there turn they ask "Do you have any (name the plural of the desired supply)?" If the student they ask has it they answer "Yes, I have (quantity and name of supply)." If not they answer, "No, I don�t have any...

 		 Animal Names and Sentences
 Students first use a word bank to label the animals. They then put the animals into six different categories. The last step is that students use these categories to write sentences about them. I used this with a class of beginning speakers and found that they were able to do this quite easily and could apply it to write about other animals.
