More than 40 starts of sentences that students must finish. Students take turns to draw a card and read the beginning aloud. They then have to finish the line. (Obama said last night that..../ I have always dreamt about..../ Monday we will...../ I have a dream....../ Buying candy is.....).

I Have...but...I Want...
This is a game to be played with beginners. It practises listening and reaction. Instructions are on the cards. If you want it to last longer laminate the cards. Collect the cards and hand them out again. The game can be repeated and you can challenge students to react faster and faster. "Can we go faster than 60 seconds and make it to the end?"
