Back to Normality?
This is a sheet to get them thinking about where we go from here. They match up picture and description and consider some arguments. They then have to choose the arguments they agree with the most and also, write a paragraph about how they view the new normal. I love Rick - look at his little face! xx

Describe the picture.
An interesting picture, with questions on prepositions and also on the content of the picture. Key on page 2. This would suit a mixed ability class as the questions range from elementary to advanced. Youtube link provided - that is where I found the picture. It is Serbian Naive art. Couldnt find any copyright but Im not Sherlock Holmes.

Six fabulous pictures with exercises to practise basic structures - present continuous, there is/are... First, they decide which picture is being described. On page 2, a true/false activity, answer the questions and then, they write some sentences themselves. Thanks to the artist, Annya Marttinen, for permission to use her great artwork.

Should the statues come down?
This is one of the debates of the moment in the aftermath of the dreadful killing of George Floyd: should we tear down statues of people linked to the Slave Trade? They look at the arguments and decide where they stand. Key included. I am not from a minority ethnic group and I apologise if any sensibilities have been offended. If so, a private mess...
