Wendy Hardy-Osborne
A reading comprehension. Wendy is actually Dr Whos daughter;-)There are clues in the text that any of your students who watch Dr Who will pick up on: Buccaneer/Chula/Pentallion. And you didnt study those subjects in the 19th century! The unscramble reads,Her father is not a doctor, her father is the doctor. Which doctor? Dr Who, of course.

RC: a disappointing meal at a restaurant
A couple have a disappointing meal. They do the T/F and answer the questions. It is a true story, except it was a wonderful evening. The waiter was hilariously funny. There was another couple next to us who had awful food as well and we just laughed all night.
