This is one of ten listening exercises I use in the elementary level schools for ESL students. Give each student a blank A4 [8x11] piece of paper. Pre-teach the bold vocabulary and then
have fun watching them as you give the instructions.

I am truly sorry. I made a few typing mistakes in #5 and in the Key I made squares instead if diamonds. This is a corrected exercise where students can listen, follow your instructions by drawing with little writing.So it is fun even though they are improving their vocabulary and listening ability. It helps to preteach new vocabulary.

A fun HOLLOWEEN activity. Hand out a blank A4 [8 X 11] piece of paper. The students cans use pens, pencils, crayons, or the new highlight style of coloring pens to follow your instructions. It is a good idea to teach the words in bold first. My students always like this type of exercise, so I hope you can use it too.
