Perfect PET Part 3 Writing. Part 1
I�ve been slowly developing my PET students writing for a number of years now and I�ve just about managed to get 90 of my students to do an almost perfect part 3 writing. This is a two part lesson plan. Part one being the bones of the class. Part two is the exciting way of sticking it in your students memories.

The Kooks Naive
Rather than just doing the simple gap fill this is. I tend to listen to the opening 5 lines and get students to write down what they hear. Then I ask them to translate it into their own language and back into English but using slightly different words.
When we�re done I get them to tell me what the song means.

FCE Speaking part 3 Grab activity
I use this to improve my students vocabulary for describing pictures in FCE part three.
I make 3 or four copies and get the students to take one when they use it whilst doing part 3. The winning student is the one with the most cards at the end of class.
