"Close to you" lyrics by The Carpenters
A relaxing activity for the end of year. Students listen to the song and match a few words to their rhymes in the lyrics. They answer a true or false questionnaire. There is an explanation of key words. It is not essential to have the recording on CD as the activities can be done without it (just in case the CD player does not work).

Words to match according to vowel sounds
Another set of dominoes of my own. Students match the words with the same vowel sounds. All dominoes are connected and form a circle. Students can play the game of dominoes or simply match the words. You can use them as a revision when you have done all the vowel oral drills and classification exercises. This game is for teamwork. It is also fun.
