This a long homework I created for my young learners. the 1st page is just a preview of the 2 pages that need to be photocopied: print on A3 paper both the tree and the faces. students will choose the faces they want and write texts about them: His name is Ben, he is Lucie�s father but he isn�t Dan�s uncle...he is grumpy, he has got glasses... etc,...

here is a game I designed for very young learners to get them to reuse all the voabulary we have done so far.
they pick a card and go to the colour on the card, then depending on the number in that square they have to say the colour, a fruit, an animal, what they can see in the classroom...

the time (clock designed for a dyslexic child)
I designed this clock and the exercise with it for a dyslexic child at my school. I ended up handing it out to all my pupils and they seemed to grasp the time really quickly. hope it helps you too.

group work for young learners: in groups of 4 kids get one "wardrobe". They colour the clothes how they want. they then fill in the table with the info gathered in the group with ticks or crosses and with the colours of the different items.

today�s calendar
this ws works well if laminated and given to the kids at the beginning of a lesson. they fill in the days, the month and season but also get to ask each other questions as a daily ritual in class.
I got the idea from a poster I bought for my classroom : today�s calendar from Chartmedia. It is really different but the gist is the same.
