Katies home 1
Students read the text and fill the gaps with the name of the furniture. As well as vocabulary practice, it is also a reading comprehension and the worksheet provides plenty of opportunities for speaking. I myself made the furniture and the lovely figures are purchesed from Country Clipart by Lisa. Hope you like it!

House types
I had some time in the summer and put together the basic house types using autoshape. The pictures can be enlarged (and they remain the same quality) and used as flashcards too. It was quite a lot of work but I enjoyed it and hope it was worth it.
Have a lovely Friday!

THE IDEAL HOLIDAY
I may be too optimistic thinking of summer already, but it will come. This ws is for a speaking practice about four different types of holiday with phrases and expressions to help students. The pictures are visual aids for the discussion. I am also planning some follow-up tasks.

HEALTH & ILLNESS IDIOMS
It was the other task on my worksheet I deleted a few days ago. First there is a gapfill task, which can be solved with the help of pictures. Then students can match the definitions to the idioms. It may also be useful to see some synonyms of healthy and ill. Wish you a nice day (in Hungary today was the last day of school)!

LONDON PICTIONARY & INFORMATION FILE
Students read about some of the most famous sights and write what they are called. Then match the pictures to their names. It is one more way to learn about this city, as we are preparing for a competition. Hope it may be useful for you.
