This worksheet is great for promoting a discussion of Vincent Van Gogh. I created it after we had done a unit out of Harmer�s Listening for upper-Intermediate but it is not necessary to have done this. I found most of the students knew something about Van Gogh and a lively discussion followed regarding mental health and art styles.

This is a listening and writing exercise. Students have a number of tasks to do when listening. They then create their own lyrics from "sentence starters." My students also performed their own versions of the song. It was a great laugh. I used www.youtube.com for the music. Enjoy.
