Phonics Mini Book 17. Long Vowel Sounds: ai, ee, ea, oa, ue Happy Holidays
Its taking too long to teach each of these sounds separately, so Im trying something new and teaching them together, hence the need for a new mini book. Thank you DedicatedTeacher for the lovely template. As always the first page is full color, second mainly grayscale, and you can read the story without having to crank your neck on the third page...

To Be - Revision Work on To Be in Four Tenses, also suitable for False Beginners. 5 Pages plus detailed Answer Key.
I wanted my adult students to revise to be at the same time as reading an inspiring story, so this is what I came up with. On the first page students find examples of to be and discuss how they are being used. On the second page they complete verb tables for to be in four tenses: present simple, past simple, present perfect, future simple. In the t...

Have or has, dont have or doesnt have for younger learners.
Our textbook uses snacks and drinks to introduce have verb. As my older students really enjoyed using some worksheets similar to this that I downloaded here, I thought my younger students would enjoy the same format to practice have verb. The last square is for the students to fill in themselves as they please. Hope its useful for some of you, too...

Simple Present Affirmative, Negative & Interrogative with (mainly) Basic Verbs & Dragonball. 2 Pages + Key.
I needed another simple present print for my class of all boys so decided to make a more "boyish" one than usual. Im glad I went to the effort as although it was difficult to get the facts of Dragonball straight and to keep the language simple enough, they loved it and were really motivated to study! On the first page students complete the picture...

Review of "To Have" With Princess Diana and Her Legacy Part 3 of 3, Four Pages Plus Answer Key
I have noticed my adults have some problems with the formation of the verb to have, particularly the interrogative, which they confuse with the present perfect, so Ive made this set as a review for them. Sorry, I had to split it into 3 parts as the file was too heavy. This third part focuses on the new generation of royals with a reading text abou...

Phonics Mini Book #11. Long E Sounds: ea/ee. Weekends Are Neat. First page color, second mainly grayscale, third text upright.
I kind of like this story - an imaginary family, but what a great one! The last page is blank so that students can draw and write a sentence about their dream weekend. My grateful thanks to DedicatedTeacher for the wonderful template, Phillip Martin for the great clipart, and Nika Jana (Moravc) for her wonderful enthusiasm and lists of phonic words...
