Students think it is so much fun to decode messages, therefore , once they have become familiar with the texting lingos, the teacher could create a lot of messages for students to decode.

Handmade puppet-body parts
A student of mine sent me this beautiful handmade puppet. So, I thought I should use it to teach body parts. I do not wish to teach a lot of vocabulary to young learners, but you can edit it and include more words.

A DAY OUT

Ian Falconer�s "Olivia" books are very popular among children. The above activity can be used both as a reading activity with younger students (they read the book and they fill in the blanks) and as a listening activity with more advanced students (The teacher reads the text and they fill in the blanks after having made some notes)
