 you can use it more than one way: you explain the tenses , the sts make conclusions from the chart, sts make sentences using the chart, sts decode the signs and pictures in the chart, sts answer your questions on the tenses ... I normally avoid using tenses names not to confuse the sts. The simplier the better. Good luck!

about myself using supporting signs
 This is the way my little ones learn to tell about themselves. We use supporting signs, which keep them from thinking on their mother tongue. You can easily change the names for your traditional ones. Hope you can use it.
