I used the idea of mini-booklet from this site and after my students had fun with it I thought I would try one of my own. I used this after a vocab worksheet from this site and a powerpoint I made on CNY vocab. (Will upload powerpoint)

I use songs with youtube clips to revise phonics sounds. This worksheet uses the song �Take me to your heart� to look at short �a� and short �e� sounds. The youtube clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKn3GGCbh_0) also has the words. The students love it (particularly the girls)! Enjoy :)

Mother�s Day fun!
Mothers and grandmothers are an important part of the culture here in Hong Kong. I like to celebrate with the students by helping them write short poems in cards for their mums/Grandmothers.
