Reading_Different Uses of Like
This is an activity I have used successfully many times to illustrate the different uses of �like�. Students read a short text about �Emily Morgan, my aunt� and answer the questions: What does she look like?; What does she like?; and What is she like? Hope you find it as useful as I have!

Verb patterns sentence scramble
This worksheet consists of six sentences which you can laminate and cut up. Students have to arrange the words in the correct order to piece together the sentences. Good revision of verb forms such as like + gerund, plus would like + infinitive.

Reported speech speaking activity
This is an activity I used successfully yesterday. Students work in pairs and ask each other questions in a variety of tenses. They then swap partners and tell their new partner about their interview using reported speech. It�s a good way for students to review reported speech in a meaningful way.
